KindWork Organizational Update

KindWork is formalizing our collaboration with nonprofit Brooklyn Workforce Innovations (BWI) through a strategic partnership. As a program of BWI, KindWork will retain the elements that make it special and effective: the founders and staff, our curriculum, and our comprehensive model of graduate career coaching. Simultaneously, KindWork will gain important administrative, fundraising, and operational support.

KindWork Pilot Program Impact Report Release

We are excited to share with you KindWork’s very first Impact Report. Just over a year ago, we launched our 501(c)(3) with the aim of creating pathways to careers in the innovation economy for low-income young adults. Thanks to the incredible support from our donors, community partners, and students we are proud to have completed two cycles of our training program.

Our early results are promising and we’re committed to continuing to develop a highly effective program.

Celebrating Cohort 4 Graduation

We are excited to celebrate the graduation of KindWork’s fourth cycle of the Customer Experience Fellowship.

The training was conducted 100% online paired with small in-person group coaching sessions.

Our fourteen recent graduates are ready to put their digital customer experience skills to work. Eighty-six percent of our graduates have already secured full-time job offers with some impressive tech startups including Alma, Ana Luisa, Uber, Capsule, CloudKitchens, and Proper Cloth.

All KindWork graduates receive twelve months of post-placement career coaching. Career coaching ensures that our Fellows can thrive in their new roles in the tech sector.
